Counselling & Psychotherapy
Supervision
I offer clinical supervision for counsellors, psychotherapists, and practitioners working in mental health and related fields. My aim is to provide a supportive, reflective space that balances both professional development and personal wellbeing.
My approach to supervision is integrative, drawing on Hawkins & Shohet’s 7-Eyed Model of Supervision, which allows us to explore your work from multiple perspectives, including the client’s experience, your interventions, the therapeutic relationship, the wider context, and your own process as a practitioner.
Supervision with me is:
Collaborative – a shared exploration where you are supported and also constructively challenged.
Developmental – focused on deepening your skills, confidence, and professional identity.
Ethical – ensuring safe practice in line with professional and organisational standards.
Reflective – giving you space to process your own emotional responses and avoid burnout.
I have extensive experience providing supervision within residential services, the NHS, and private practice, supporting both individuals and groups. Whether you are newly qualified or an experienced practitioner, supervision offers a steady and confidential space to maintain your growth, resilience, and effectiveness as a therapist or manager.
Personal Development, group work and Training
Alongside individual therapy and supervision, I offer a range of group-based services designed to support both personal growth and professional practice. Group work can provide a powerful and dynamic space for learning, reflection, and shared experience.
I facilitate:
Reflective Practice Groups – supporting staff teams to process the emotional demands of their work, strengthen resilience, and maintain ethical, compassionate practice.
Group Psychotherapy – creating safe therapeutic spaces where individuals can explore emotions, relationships, and patterns in a supportive group setting.
Psychoeducational Groups – delivering structured workshops on topics such as emotional regulation, trauma recovery, mindfulness, and relapse prevention.
Personal Development & Self-Awareness Groups – helping individuals deepen their understanding of themselves, build emotional awareness, and enhance relational skills.
My style of facilitation is both structured and responsive, drawing on over two decades of experience in residential, organisational, and retreat settings. I bring creativity, warmth, and clinical expertise to group processes, ensuring that participants feel safe, engaged, and supported.
These services are available to rehabs, residential homes, therapy organisations, and online platforms seeking input, consultation, or direct facilitation of therapeutic group work.
Life can feel overwhelming at times. You may be struggling with low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, grief, or the impact of past trauma. Counselling and psychotherapy offer a safe and confidential space to explore what you’re going through and to find new ways of coping.
In our sessions, I provide a calm, supportive environment where you can speak openly and be heard without judgement. Together we will explore the challenges you face, make sense of past experiences, and work towards meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, which means I draw from a range of therapeutic methods — including talking therapy, mindfulness, and evidence-based techniques — tailored to your unique needs.
The goal is not quick fixes, but steady and sustainable growth that helps you live with greater clarity, confidence, and peace of mind.
